About Me

Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Lucia pursued a professional dance career in New York in Modern Dance. After graduating with her MPT, she worked in dance medicine, neuro rehab, and out-patient orthopedics for the next 27 years, with her focus for the past 12 years in the specialty practice of pelvic physical therapy. 


Lucia launched the Pelvic Health Physical Therapy program at Sutter Novato Community Hospital and at the Stanford Pelvic Health Center. She is a member of APTA, IPPS and GPHAM. Lucia’s loves include hiking, traveling, Cuban salsa dancing, SUP boarding, gardening and improving her fluency in Spanish.
